Student Clubs

Student-led Clubs at the Academy are both initiated and run by the students themselves, with support from relevant staff members. The Clubs encourage diverse hobbies and interests from the sciences to the Arts and environment. All are creative in their approach and explore leadership and participation.

  • Reptile Keeping – students from across our community care for four reptile residents in the Biology laboratory, learning about reptile life cycles, habitat, and conservation along the way.
  • Mathematics Committee – a group of Year 10 students work together to organise and run activities for primary schools, the Year 7 ‘Mathematics Pentathlon’, and Pi Day.
  • Open Studio Art Club – a lunchtime club for all students to use the Art room facilities to work on individual or group projects
