In honour of Neale Daniher AO, Academy staff and students were invited to wear the Big Freeze beanie to school on June 10, 2026, the day of Neale’s state funeral.

Neale’s legacy is extraordinary. Through his leadership of FightMND and the iconic Big Freeze fundraiser, he helped raise over $100 million for MND (Motor neurone disease) research and brought the fight against this devastating disease into the hearts and homes of Australians everywhere.
