Hi-Tea in Grand Style

On Sunday 5 August, Overnewton Castle, a large manor house built in 1849, hosted over 100 mums, aunties, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, and friends who gathered there for a fundraising High Tea in support for the Academy of Mary Immaculate.

All ladies sat in a stately room chatting, smiling, laughing, and mingling together while listening to the talented Academy Big Band led by Performing Arts Director Andrew Power, as well as some wonderful student instrumental solo performances and singers. The High Tea lived up to its delicious menu, accompanied by tea served in beautiful fine china.

Our school families across all year levels supported this great afternoon. Many guests went home a winner thanks to the many donated prizes up for grabs through the High Tea Raffle offering.
