The Academy of Mary Immaculate is seeking an experienced, innovative educational leader for this key leadership position which offers a breadth of responsibility in leadership in a Catholic school.

This presents a wonderful opportunity for a dynamic and passionate educator to work with the Principal, the Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching and the College Leadership Team in leading and implementing the Vision, Mission and Values of the College.

The Deputy Principal – Wellbeing and Operations, will be an outstanding educator, with a demonstrated ability of leadership in Catholic education, and with excellent communication and organisational skills. An understanding of and commitment to 21st Century learning is essential, as is the capacity to inspire staff to excellence in practice.  The Deputy Principal – Wellbeing and Operations will lead a holistic approach to student wellbeing.

The Academy of Mary Immaculate, under the governance of Mercy Education Ltd, was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1857 and is the oldest girls’ secondary school in Victoria, still proudly existing on its original founding site. The College is imbued with the Mercy spirit, committed to excellence and to the education of independent, articulate, resilient, compassionate and faith filled young women Humanities.
