Deputy Principal – Learning & Teaching

Commencing Term 1 2020

This is a key position which offers a breadth of responsibility in leadership, working with the Principal, the Deputy Principal – Wellbeing and Organisation, and the College Leadership Team in guiding and implementing the Vision, Mission and Values of the College. The Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching, will be an outstanding educator, with a demonstrated ability of leadership in Catholic education, and with excellent communication and organisational skills. An understanding of and commitment to 21st Century learning is essential, as is the capacity to inspire staff to excellence in practice.


Positions of Leadership

We are seeking inspirational leaders for the following Positions of Leadership (POL 2):

      • Humanities Learning Leader
      • English Learning Leader
      • Languages Learning Leader
      • Learning Enhancement Leader
      • Co-Leader of Resource Centre (Teacher/Librarian). Shared position – 2 days per week
      • Year Level Wellbeing Leader

Teaching Positions

      • Learning Support Assistant – Literacy and Numeracy (Fulltime ongoing position)
      • Health and PE teacher (Fulltime fixed term position – Term 1)

Fulltime and part time, fixed term teaching positions are available for teachers with the following methods or a combination of the following methods:

      • Mathematics
      • English
      • Humanities
      • Health/PE

College Archivist (0.4FTE ongoing position)

The successful applicant will have a commitment to the preservation of the history and heritage of the Academy of Mary Immaculate.
