User Services

Media Services

• Off air recording service for television, radio and satellite programs.
• 35mm cameras, and tripods are available for period, overnight or weekend loan.
• Instruction and assistance in equipment use.
• Video and audio editing.
• Inter-library loan of videos and television programs.
• CD players, cassette players and extension cords available for loan.
• Photographic service for major events, promotions, etc.

Services for Staff

• 12 month loans, books may be renewed over Christmas holidays.
• Reference service.
• Publication of Webwatcher once a term.
• Professional development sessions are conducted on Internet searching, use of CD ROMs, online databases etc.
• Assistance with student research tasks as required.

Borrowing

• Non-fiction : 2 weeks
• Fiction : 4 weeks
• Periodicals : 2 days
• Videos, DVDs : 2 days

No restriction is placed on the number of items borrowed, however borrowing privileges are removed if items are overdue. No fines are charged for overdue items.
