Collection

The collection aims to support the curriculum. Except for the fiction collection no attempt is made to meet the recreational pursuits of the patrons. The collection is composed of book and non-book materials and includes access to on-line information sources which are further described below.

Fiction:

This collection is housed separately in the Fiction Library and includes adolescent and adult fiction, "Easy Readers", picture books and talking books.

Non-fiction:

The IRC also subscribes to a number of electronic databases, for example, Proquest, which is an online database of national and international newspapers, journals, and radio and television transcripts.
