Mid August VETiS Hospitality students Alana Abenir and Jessica Nguyen got the opportunity to cook in the kitchen with one of Melbourne’s best chefs, Guy Grossi, as part of the ‘Great Chef’ program at William Angliss. It was a once in a life time experience for the girls who regard themselves as fortunate to be mentored by such a well-known and experienced chef. Alana and Jessica cooked alongside Matteo Pignatelli the Head Chef at ‘Grossi Florentine’. It was a thoroughly rewarding experience and the girls said “the menu was amazing and the new techniques we’ve learnt will come in handy for us in the future.”
